1. The texts
Ranx survey texts invite you to a survey run by an organization you have a relationship with, usually your employer, and remind you before it closes. Each text names that organization and links to your own survey. Ranx sends the texts on the organization's behalf. Survey texts never carry marketing.
2. How you agree
You agree on a consent form that the organization gives you before it adds your mobile number to Ranx. The form comes on paper or online, and both show the same wording next to a box that starts unchecked. There is no other way to agree: no keyword, verbal or QR code opt-in.
On paper. The organization hands you a printed consent form, for example with onboarding paperwork. You write your mobile number, check the box, and sign and date the form.
Online. The organization shows you the same form online, for example in its onboarding portal. You type your mobile number, check the box, and click Submit.
Both forms show this wording next to the box:
I agree to get survey invitations and reminders by text from [Organization] through Ranx at the mobile number above. Usually 1 to 3 texts per survey. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Agreeing is optional and not a condition of employment or purchase. SMS Terms: https://www.ranx.app/sms-terms Privacy: https://www.ranx.app/privacy
If you leave the box unchecked, you get no survey texts. When an administrator uploads people to Ranx, they confirm, person by person, that each one agreed on the form. Ranx records that agreement and texts only those people. Ranx never buys, rents or shares mobile numbers.
Agreeing to survey texts is not a condition of employment or of any purchase. You can take a survey another way, such as by email, if the organization offers it.
3. How often
Texts go out only for surveys the organization runs. Most surveys send one to three texts: an invitation, then reminders before the survey closes. How often surveys run depends on the organization.
4. Costs
Message and data rates may apply, under your mobile plan. Ranx and the organization don't charge you for survey texts.
5. Stopping texts
Reply STOP to any survey text to stop survey texts from that sender. You get one text confirming it, and no more survey texts are sent to your number unless you reply START. You can also ask the organization to remove your mobile number.
6. Help
Reply HELP to any survey text for contact details. For questions about a survey, contact the organization that sent it, usually your HR team. You can also email Ranx at ranx@ranx.app.
7. Your mobile number
Ranx uses your mobile number only to send the surveys and reminders described here and to honor STOP and HELP. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except the providers that deliver the texts.
The Ranx Privacy Policy explains how Ranx handles other information.
8. Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts reach US mobile numbers on supported carriers.
